Executive Summary

It is important to the Ministry of Justice that they have a clear understanding of any accessibility issues for users of their website. User Vision was commissioned to perform an accessibility audit of six journeys as part of the Learning and Work Progress Service.

The aim of the audit is to determine whether there are any accessibility barriers remaining on these pages within the journey. It is designed to capture any issues so that the Ministry of Justice can make sure that the application can be used by the widest possible audience by complying with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) V2.2 Level A and Level AA.

The audit was carried out on desktop (using NVDA, JAWS and Dragon NaturallySpeaking), iPad (using VoiceOver), and Mac (using VoiceOver). On desktop, the pages were tested on Google Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari using manual and automated testing software.
